The tree council invites you to join them in celebrating trees!
With an abundance of research supporting the benefits of children’s outdoor play and learning, this is a great opportunity to find purpose in your visit. There are some activity suggestions to do with children, on their site linked below. There are so many different opportunities to try: Look at books about trees in your local library, find a documentary about trees on TV, go for a walk in a forest full of trees. Look carefully and observe the different shapes and colours of leaves, can you match them to the correct tree? Decorating trees with natural leaf art, drawing or writing about trees. As well as these and many more, there is also a chance to visit one of their locations nationally, where you can get involved with planting a tree!
